Why don't women look me in the eyes sometimes?

Is it nervousness or an attraction issue? This happens to me on a few occasions and it bothers me because I feel it's disrespectful.

I find that i tend to look more and concentrate more on mouths than eyes.

If i avoid looking someone in the eyes, it's normally just disinterest.
It's not a conscious thing it's more just habit. If someone annoys me i just dont look at them and hope they get the hint.

you have to read into it sometimes. If they're shy they'll still be nice, if they dont like you they probably won't be appreciative of compliments or receptive to conversation.

well, I can't really hold anybody's eye contact unless I force myself..
I was raised where my dad stared at me when he was mad at me, and I tried not to hold eye contact, cause I didn't want him to keep being mad at me, so I thought eye contact was a sign that I was mad at them or expecting something out of them or something..

they might either be bored, shy, nervous, uncomfortable, or it's just something they do.. (some of the women I know can't hold eye contact either, while some stare at me..)

there's this guy I really like and I can't hold eye contact with him from time to time, I can only hold eye contact with him if I'm confident about what I'm telling him, or he's telling me something that he's really interested in, I'm asking him a question, or he's asking me a question.
if we're both having a casual conversation, It's hard..
but it seems like it's that way with him too.. so we both just stand next to eachother, look forward, and talk.

if there's a girl who can't keep eye contact with you,
try asking her a question about herself or something she does or something she was talking about.

it'll be different with some, because some people like doing the talking and some like being talked to.

well if i like a guy i get nervous and try not too look directly at their eyes i look away i guess its just nerves its probably not ment in disrespect from whomever does that too you maybe they like you and are nervous when talking to you

We'll... when i get nervous i sometimes can't look at a guy directly, but i also sometimes do that if i'm embarassed or angry at the person. So it just depends on the situation...
