good for you!! keep it htat way till you are in your 20's or even better yet when your married! lol...
all i have to say is. they only did it to themselves. they want us to feel sorry for them cause they are too stupid to use a neat invention called a condom! and some neat medication called birth contorl pills!! woow...they're not that hard to get yet "it must feel better without a condom. and the pull out method is a great way to prevent pregnancy" NOT! that is the worst method. yes i am 19 and did loose it a few months ago(to my bf of 2 years now. we waited a year and a half and were in no rush to have sex at all, we were both virgins).... i am on the birth contorl and I use a condom.. just wish some of these younger folks would get some sexual education sense kicked into their head!
yikes... but they only did it to themselves and they deserve it for being stupid about not using protection..
if you are not responsible enough to practice safe sex then you shouldnt be having sex at all ... take teh risks and suffer the consequences...
but good job on waiting! the best thing to stay a virign for as long as you can is to not get involved in boys! that is the easiest way. and never let your friends pressure you into anything..
but being pregnnat at that age is too young. me even 19 i think it is still to young to be pregnant...
yes babies are alot of hard work also... i heard a statistic on the radio that if you have a child now from when it is born till it is 18 years old you will spend over $364,000 dollars on it... thats roughly $20, 000 a year. and no 14 - 17 year olds can m ake that money (both mother and father combined) so that leaves the parents to raise a baby they did not ask for cause their son/daughter made a mistake.. not fair for the parents......

I agree. I will never understand why if they are going to have sex why not go and get on birth control? They know what sex can lead to so why no birth control? or condoms?
I don't think it is cute or even something to be proud of to be pregnant at 14/15/16 years old.
Stay a virgin as long as you can and if you do decide that you are ready to have sex atleast go to the health department and get on birth control yourself (I did at age 16 cause i didn't want a baby)
And make sure the guy uses a condom. Good luck to you and take care.

I agree, being a pregnant teen is way too young. Having sex before you've graduated school is too young imho. And while I don't think those girls should be having sex in the first place, I empathize with their plight and the decisions facing them: abortion, keep the baby, give up to adopt. I do have to say that I can't empathize with those who go around all proud of their pregnancies. This seems to be a growing trend here. You have to wonder what psychological need the pregnancy is filling if they're actually proud of it all.

Although I am happy that there are better support systems so that teenage moms can finish high school and such, I feel that there is too much of a "cutsie" factor also. It's not cute. It's very difficult and it can ruin your life. Even those who end up getting married more than likely will get divorced because they are not really the person they are going to become.

I think they are seriously lacking self respect. It is an awesome experience to have a child but only when you are ready physically, emotionally and financially. I feel allot of people have babies and then expect society to help them. A baby is not a toy they are allot of hard work and it is SO sad when someone who is not ready to have a baby does because it is the child who pays the price. Just to say we do have allot of teen mothers who truly do a great job but they are missing out on so much and will more then likely regret it when they grow up.

I agree with all of you.I'm a 40 year old mom and had my first child at 28.First of all being pregnant at a young age is very risky because a woman's body is not yet ready to bear a child at that early. Our body is ready at about 22 - 25 years old, and psychologically, how is a teenager suppose to provide for the child, with the help of their parents,of course. But raising a family is no joke, when we start having children,we are responsible for them and no one else. So,teenagers,if you are going to engage in sex at am early stage, practice safe sex,for your sake and for the sake of what might happen. We cannot prevent you to do sex but be responsible.

I had my son at 16...And, it's no party...it's a lot of work...But, at least I can say I graduated high school on time...and went for 1 year of college...I love my son. I owe him everything, because he made my life better...he made me grow up....If think if I had not had him when I did...I would have had no future...now I believe I do...I am 21 now...and on my second pregnancy...with a different and 100% better guy that I have been with since I was 17....The ONLY thing I regret from having my son...is who is father is...

i think that its not bad or good to get pregnant at like a young age my mom had my brother chris at the age of 14, i feel for my mom. i think people should be careful, condoms i recomend, but some brith control pills and patches have really bad side effects like major moodswings. im only 13 and a virgin and im going to say im pledging my abstinence.

I agree. I also know girls who got pregnant between the ages of 12-17 and now they have four or five kids. Thats just sad to me. They kept getting pregnant cause it was cute and they got attention and they just didn't have anything better to do. Sad :(
