You guys are all missing the point, munoz said NEW SONGS ONLY!!!!
Anything by Dragonforce but I recommend: Through the Fire and the Flames
I know they're comedy, but the solo rules: Tenacious D - Master Exploder
I don't know what you define as new, but I recommend: Dream Theater - Overture 1928

The intro to Love Song by Tesla is pretty awesome. Pink Floyds comfortably Numb solo is also very nice. I think the best though is old journeys "of a lifetime" . Nothing better!

My Sharona by the Knack.
But don't just listen to the shortened "radio" version, make the effort and listen to the full-length album version. This song is nearly 30 years old and I STILL have not heard that solo too many times!

"Hangar 18" - Megadeth (There's 11 in total)
"Jessica" - Allman Brothers Band
"Sweet Child O' Mine" - Guns and Roses
There all good.
It may seem like I'm quoting songs from GH2, but that's where all the best solos are.
