To michrb52... OZZY was knocked off by Alice in the semi-finals. What can I say, the people voted. I found it a little shocking.
Sabbath were crowned METAL FAMILY in my first series of METAL WARS.
After crowning the KING, I'll put together a battle for METAL QUEEN.

To wheezer_a... Rob Halford was part of the METAL WARS battle for KING of METAL. Unfortunately, for him, OZZY & Lemmy knocked him out of the running.

If the battle is over, and if Dio is not a winner, in my heart still pick Ronnie James Dio as a king.

Oh PLEEEASE those 2 are mere peasants everyone (including Alice and Dio and any musician) knows that Ozzy Osboune and Black Sabbath are more than Kings of metal they Are HEAVY METAL GODS.
ok so since the "people" have spoken and Sabbath has been eliminated i have to say that I met Alice at an airport bar one time, he was pretty ok of a guy a little tired and still alcoholic but he's is no way nor has he ever been metal, he had a damn fine band once upon a time though. So that means by elimination ONLY I have to go with the Man on the Silver Mountain: ronnie james DIO.

Huh, alice cooper isn't really metal, he's more like hard rock, Dio is certainly a greater legend when it comes to real metal.
But personally, I like alice better. Difficult. Decisions, decisions.
Heck, my vote for Dio.

Between the two, it's Dio since Alice isn't quite as "metal" as ol' leather lungs. By no means does that preclude Alice from being *cool* (which he is) - he's just not as "metal" as Dio.
And how in the heck isn't JUDAS PRIEST in these finals?????

I find it odd that it's come down to these two.
However, Alice Cooper simply rocks. Killer, Billion Dollar Babies, Love it to Death, Muscle of Love ... Glam with a hard edge.
Sorry, Ronnie, but Vincent Furnier gets the thinking man's vote.
