I think it's a cute gesture if you are planning a romantic evening by the fire with the tree lights twinkling...maybe some wine or such, fondue if you have skills in the kitchen, make it a total night not just a bow and a quickie. No but I did once go into the bathroom and put on a red silk night gown, high heels (red) and a father christmas hat.
When I came out he was sitting in the bedroom chair in a Father Christmas suit!

Yes. Oneday, I walked into my parents' room and said (with a big bow on my head) ,"Just what you wanted for Christmas -- me, your beautiful, wonderful (etc,) child!!" but they laughed in my face. Then I put the bow on the dog i got mom and she loved it.

Don't do that for your hubby, you're the same old dish. Put a bow on your hot, way more attractive friend for him. Now THAT, he will appreciate.
