Your question sparks another question in my mind. If Aliens do exist on our planet. Then Where would they reside. I thought about this and based on your question I don't necessarily think that aliens are in the higher echelons if they are here. Perhaps they influence the direction. But more interesting is ... Do you think that they are among us? No. Why would an alien species, presumably from a water based planet, want to limit itself to the 25-30 % of the globe not water based. I think, if aliens are here, they would be in the depths of the ocean. Simply because that is the majority of the earth. Why would you want to occupy the minority of a planet. If aliens to occupy the oceans, then in effect, they are already the majority stakeholders in the world. HA.. my logic is undeniable.
