I'd like to know what the crappiest bowl game is. (there are 32 bowl games this year) I know you can rule out the BCS afffiliated bowls, the Cotton Bowl, and the Gator, The Capital One, but what is the weakest bowl game still being played in the 2006 season?

If I were forced to pick one least exciting bowl, not including the ones already played, just from looking at the conferences and records of the teams playing, probably the New Mexico Bowl, with 6-6 New Mexico v 8-4 San Jose St.

though its hard to get excited about the papahohns.com bowl featuring South Florida and East Carolina, or the armed Forces Bowl, Tulsa v Utah.

Though for fans of those teams, these bowls will be a big deal, so it's hard to say that any of them are irrelevant, and they just may turn out to be great games.

generally, the later in the season the better the teams, though I don't know what's going on with the international and GMAC bowls being played in January.

Ohio State and Florida. That will be a WEAK Bowl game. Best bowl game this year will be the Rose Bowl. Michigan and UCS match up will be awesome.
Plus any bowl game with Notre Dame in it would also be considered a WEAK bowl game because they SUCK and are way OVER RATED!!!

The weakest bowl are the ones that are most unbalanced/blowouts.

Texas is going to kill Iowa.
Boston College is going to kill Navy.
BYU already did a number on Oregon 38-8 yarn!!

tonight's game.. troy vs rice.. two meaningless 7-5 teams. who wins? who cares?!?!?

gee, wait, that was harsh.. these two schools finished high in their conference and they should be proud of what they did this season. playing in any bowl is a good experience and will help these kids get some scouting exposure..

but overall, how many people are actually watching it tonight???
