I bouhgt a nintendo 64 one time for $29 and some games so the total value of the stuff was about $35ish and then today i traded them in and only got $23 out of it i was so freeakin mad can any one tell me how i can prevent from being jipped?

if you bought an N64 and a few games for 35 dollars, and then was able to go back to this place, give back the N64 and the games, and get 23 dollars back, it was YOU that ripped off this buy/sell/trade shop - basically, you *rented* the system and games for however long, and it only costed you 12 dollars

how about next time, if you're so worried about how much things generally cost, take one of two trails.

go to http://www.gamestop.com and look up the game you have - see how much they sell it for (it's a national chain)

or

go to http://www.ebay.com and log in. search for the game in question, and then on the left hand side, put a check mark in the spot that says "completed orders only" and see how much this game has been selling for lately

and, in regards to the first answer, saying that you got "gypped" is the same as saying that you were "jewwed" - i don't have to agree, it's a fact
