click on your avatar in the top left of the screen then click edit my info. Next click on Edit my Yahoo! avatar and then click appearance. Now those heads and faces below are all off the choices you can have as a face shape. Then just save it. I think the faces are pretty much all the same size and shape and its just the way your avatars hair is sitting. like some avatars hair is away from their face and others close to their face and that makes the shape different etc...

Um, there should be a way you can, I think it is in appearance or something, I don't know, I have never looked. My face on my avatar looks the same size as yours, it may look a little thinner though because of the really short hair. Otherwise, I don't think you can change the way your avatar's bodyweight.
