My wife got extremely jealous about me having a myspace and talking to high school friends that were women. She, however goes to karate and had a married man that we had hung out with before ask her out, I found out through one of her e-mails, she never told me openly, she says it was just to sonic, yet somehow she had to remind him that she was married, I don't get that one. Anyway, she wanted me to get rid ot the myspace, so I did, so should I want her to stop karate? I am really not jealous persay, I mean if you arent happy with me and want to leave, go ahead, it will suck, but life goes on. Anyway, I just dont like not being trusted when I haven't cheated or anything. Just wondering what you guys thought.

OK won't get the ten but I am going to put my two cents in anyway...YOU NEED TO STAND YOUR GROUND...I have been here and one this....(you wife needs to know I WAS HER),..God bless my husband for standing his ground. It made me love him even more (married 27 yrs). You do not have to be a jealous person but you do have to set the limits in your relationship. There is an old saying "those who do not trust, usually believe the other person is up to the same thing they are." God Bless and DUCK, cause she needs you to let her know what the ground rules are. Love me, respect me, be honest with me, or get the heck out!!

I don't see this as a double standard. On line relationships can be very personal; maybe she felt you would share more with them than you would with her. She probably felt left out.
How much time were you spending on MySpace? How long ago were you in High school? Are you still in the same town? Does your wife know those women? How would you feel if she was keeping touch with other men on email or MySpace? I would feel very uncomfortable if my husband was having ongoing conversations - verbal or written - online. By the way, the word for just friends is platonic, not to sonic.
