I recently joined my choir in church, but how can become a good singer. What are some tips to remember when I sing? I know nothing about finding notes on a piano, nothing about range, pitch, or whatever. I just love to sing.

try to get a good voice teacher, or try to focus on what you are singing and express that in your own way. you will always sound better if you know what you are saying and if it means something to you because the audience can hear a difference.

I've been singing since I can remember, and I can't read music or anything like that, yet I can sing almost anything I hear.
When you first start singing a song, just listen to it at first to get an idea about what you're singing.
I was in choir for 6 years and that's aways what I would do, is listen first, then gradually get better.
If people think you're good, why not just go with the flow?

To not make any noise & just move your lips. You will be awesome & nobody can knock your singing ability.
