You should check out malayasia and islands (Sentosa island etc) nearby, doesn't take long.

There are many places to visit in Singapore. It all depends on whether you want a sightseeing or shopping!! For places of interest, do not missed our famous Sentosa Island, The Singapore Zoological Garden, The Night Safari and the Jurong Bird Park. If you want to see snow in Singapore, visit Snow City.
As for Shopping, Orchard Road is a good place to shop till you drop! The latest shopping mall is Vivo City. You may want to visit Vivo City as it is the largest shopping mall in Singapore.

I've been to Singapore before and it was amazing. SENTOSA Island is a must-see place. Also the Singapore Zoological Gardens or the Night Safari, then the Jurong Bird Park. Orchard Road is the best place to shop, though a bit expensive than the ones in the Bugis area. I think...hehe. Anyway, Mt Faber is also pretty cool...it has this view deck where you can see the city at bird's eye view. Good luck and happy trip! :]

In Singapore: One shouldn't miss Sentosa Island and the night Safari. Also the hawkers' stalls. and Orchard Road.

Sentosa Island is fantastic, you can just take the cable wire from the city. I really enjoyed it. Check out Orchard Road too, it's got the best shopping and restaurants and is gorgeous.

In Singapore don't forget the largest fountain in the world, i think it's in Sun Cit Mall. Also, go to Sentosa, it's amazing.

u can take flight to Langkawi airport, but it may need to transit at KL or Penang. If you want to take bus, then u need to go either Kuala Kedah or Kuala perlis. Penang island also can to get speed boat to Langkawi island ( Jetty Kuah)
