It isn't about the $$$, it's about the love behind it. We could or would never spend that much on each other. Save it. Buy her a vacation. Put it into a life insurance policy. Who cares...

You have spent more than enough. It isnt how much you spend or the amount of presents that shows her how much you love her. Write her a letter expressing how much she means to you, what you love most about her, how much you appreciate all she does all year long, let her know that all those little things dont go unnoticed. Stick that in her stocking and watch her response.

God love ya. My husband didn't get me anything for my birthday or anniversary this year. I am expecting the same thing for Christmas and, yet, here you are worrying whether you bought your wife ENOUGH. Where were you when I was single?

Money doesn't equal love. My boyfriend and I agreed that we would go away for a weekend instead of exchanging gifts. To me, the most important thing I want out of a relationship is love and affection. Gifts don't do it.

that seems like more than enough and besides that it shouldnt matter how many presents or how much they cost it should be the thought behind the gifts that counts.

Dang. I didn't spend on dime on my significant other. I just made him some stuff. If you put some thought into it, it should go over okay.

$800 would work for me! I guess you'll find out what she thinks on Christmas morning.

honey...it is not how much you spent...but it is how much effort, thought and love you put into getting those gifts...are they things that she will love and that will hold a special place in her heart? That's what's important.....
