Learn to make your bedroom a haven for you. Imagine going to sleep at night on a bed devoid of laundry, papers, and clutter. Conquer the clutter in your closet and you may actually find clothes and shoes you forgot you had.

Your bedroom is supposed to be your sanctuary, a place where you lie down at the end of the day and let your worries drift away.

Making a bed may not seem like the most necessary chore, but a made bed helps a room seem less cluttered and more organized. Since most bedrooms have a bed as the focal point of a room, having a made bed is important to the overall look.

Or you might want to try some of my quick cleanup routine for my room that will let me find the bed and the floor:

1. Sweep and mop or vacuum.
2. Grab all dirty clothing and put it in a hamper.
3. Grab all clean clothes and refold or re-hang.
4. Grab all trash and put in the trashcan.
5. Make the bed.
6. Pickup all the misplaced items on the floor, bed, desk, etc.
7. Straighten surfaces.
8. Sweep and mop or vacuum, again.

If you keep up this regime regularly on your room, you'll always be able to find your bed. And isn't that what we all want.

Either live with it or change how you do things. Get rid of clutter and things you don't need or use. Give them to charity or a younger family member that might like to have the stuff. Then buy baskets or containers and label for the things you use a lot and keep handy, stacked or under the bed or lined up against the wall. When you finish using something put it away right then. don't wait. This has to become a habit or you will never get it together and it will be hard to do a job if you can't do that. Good luck, you can do it if you choose to. Just make it easier and you may get motivated.

Just do a little bit of cleaning up everyday. The next day go over what you cleaned the day before and do a little more cleaning in a different location.
Keeping your room clean is a habit, so get in the habit of cleaning something everyday

- Take anything you don't need to a thrift store, or give to friends.

- Keeping drawers neatly organized is ideal, but having cluttered drawers is better than cluttered surfaces. Shove everything into drawers, and once in a while, when you have time, pick a single drawer to completely straighten out.

- At the very least, make your bed. There is no one thing you can do to your room that offers a bigger improvement in looks than having a neatly-made bed, so it's a lot of "bang" for your time.

Why can't you? Maybe you just don't really care about a clean room that much. Some people (I'm one of them) believe that if we were meant to spend our lives cleaning we'd have been born with rubber-glove hands.

De-clutter! Too much stuff in a room makes it difficult to keep it clean.

Hmm.. nice pic, you remind me of someone I know...lol. But yeah, for me, it's, first of all I'm like, I am gonna clean this sorry excuse for a room, lol, so yeah I clean it, by: throwing (ok not throwing) stuff in peeps rooms that belong to them, umm throw away trash, put stuff where it goes, and kick stuff under the bed a lil, umm.. and yeah.. oh yeah, make bed, I find that really adds a point to the cleanliness, I know it's kinda retarded, especially with my bed, its a bunkbed right beside the wall, but it does look better than like.. a ball of sheets, lol, and yeah.. hmm lemme think.. oh yeah.. put stuff in drawers closets and shelves, hope this helps, you really remind me of someone I know tho..

No idea, but when you find out let me know! It seems like no matter how often I clean, it just gets messy again.
