to be put on permanent part time. well i still hanging on the loop while this new chick just started after me for 2 months and was given the full time shifts! it grose me when i confront my manager about it on the written noteand her answers was its none of my bussiness. i havent got back to her, and i just cant wait to see her to ask more answers. how harsh and unprofessional is that, even thou its not my bussiness well and good but its my corncen that i am treated this way what is your thoughts on this issue

Well, If you decide to stay with this company...you are making a choice. I am a union worker...so this would not happen at my company. It really depends on what the company policy of your company is. Does this other person have an education that causes her to better qualified? It does sound messed up to me BUT...it is up to your boss. If I were you I would not approach your boss in a "it's not fair" attitude...I WOULD ask her what it is that you can do in your job to better qualify for the next full time position. If you ask her in this way, she will see that you are serious about working full time and she might be more likely to think of you for the next promo.
Good Luck...and it is okay to be mad about it...just try not to show it at work.

is it the only company in town? find another job and don't sweat the small sh.t.
