tomorrow my mother in law and her husband are coming over for a lunch.
i am still stuck on what to make! she suggested getting a sub sandwich from a local deli, but i've called around and they are all around 40 bucks, for even the smallest one!
i can go to the grocery store and find something to make for way less than that...but i dont know what!
any ideas? it's kind of a casual thing.

With 40 bucks. Get a good steak dinner and buy some taters and you'll be good. Look in the fridge and spice it up. You can be creative, good luck!

well, one of my family favs has always been pasta. don't know if your mother in law would like that, but if you make some spaghetti and sausage with some rolls and a nice choice of wine, then you might have a happy mommy.

Best answer is to take em out to eat! A fantastic night out and they can choose whats on the resturant of choice menu!!!! No washing up and no guilt! MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YE ALL!!!!!

try going to trader joe's and picking up some inexpensive pizza supplies. their pizzas are extremely easy to prepare.
