High for myself and lower for others.
They are usually met as I am not unreasonable. I never expect anything from others that I wouldn't be willing to do myself.

My expectations are sky high, and yes, they're often met, but it's always with people who aren't interested in me, or who I'm too intimidated by to even talk to. But...I would rather be alone forever than lower my expectations...

I set expectation for myself very high, and I never meet them. this gives me a reason to torture myself. I set expectations for others pretty low. Then its easy for them to excel, and I can give them praise for it.

I have very high expectations of myself. That way, if I don't reach them, I have still achieved something great.

I think you have to set them high, aim high, and if you don't make it you are still farther ahead than if you just went for the average or mediocre bare minimum to get by.

I set my expectations, so I at least have to stretch for them.

Too high, unfortunately, but setting them too low is not challenging.
