I agree with you only 90% , even today we do have good politician who are truely serving the people.
However India has history of great warriors and hero's along with the names of only 10% traitors.
Hiding facts from people and sucking their blood for thier own comforts is the nature of todays (Indian )politicians.
Now politics means bussinness f... ethics and shame is the only slogan and practice. This type of polticians should be weeded out . A very good move had been made by the IIT'ns this time , lets hope for the best.
I still belive that the defination of politicians remains the same i.e."Public Servant" . But today their work is in contrast to it.

Todays politician can sell their M, S,and W for meet thier goal.
Example: 1. None of the politician had opened their mouth over the (reservation) removal of creamy layer.
2. They have dug out the skelitons of caste for making votebank when they found religious skelitons are of no use now.
3. They try very often to warn the supream court, is their any fool like them?
4. They follow the ethics of rape, murder, corruption, breaking laws for their personnel use, and make mokery of democracy.

I know this is going to sound like name-dropping, but I have a friend who worked for Robert Duvall and she said "when you get powerful enough, there are NO RULES". She meant movie stars, but I think it applies to politicians as well. With no rules, there is no need for ethics or shame.

How to define politician? In the US, I guess I'd say someone either in or running for an elected office.

Politics is good but it has been tainted by politicians with their ulterior motives. I think it was Aristotle the one that said "man by nature is a political animal". Liberals, moderate, and conservatives politicians are only looking for money and fame. They have no shame and are politically expedient. You think they'r representing you but in truth, they're looking for ways to achieve higher positions.

to start ...well politicians are an best example of darwin theory of existence...politicians can do anything and everything to ensure their existence near the chair in power.Well needless to say darwin theory of existence is based on animals....so are the politicians, who still believe in jungle raj, to enforce their will. It is highly unfortunate that we are no more than mere spectators....else we all got to walk with a candle on street and then we can change definition of politician

Yes, I agree. It seems it's "Politicians Gone Wild" to me.
They have everything - the best health care, numerous homes
& they still continue to vote themselves raises & to raise taxes
on the middle class.
Unethical & shameless are a perfect definition.

I additionally loathe the slimy bathe of incompetent below labored and overpaid MP's below which we go through I extremely communicate with the "authorities MPs who've did no longer carry out the only job they're elected for and that's to hold the administrative to account. regrettably that is between the themes with great majorities. it supplies the administrative a freer hand, with the aid of fact those elected on their value tag are unlikely to vote them selves and their social gathering out of place of work. I would desire to admit some politicians are nicely worth admiration yet they in no way ever get to ministerial point
