Well, I can't really tell you what he likes exactly, It depends on what his style is
If its Alternative, I would go with All American Rejects, Red Hot Chili Peppers
If its clasic rock, you can't go wrong with AC/DC or Led Zepplin
If its heavy metal, I would go with From First to last, AFI possibly
If its hip hop, I personally like 50 cent, Jay Z, Eminem

Not anything girly (a.k.a. fergalicious), something rock. He would probably like "Be Yourself & Five Other Cliches" by Supernova and probably the rest of their album. If he's anything like the guys at my school he'd like Stonesour's "Through Glass." From Three Days Grace there's "Pain" and "Riot."
