Well, since I am not cooking and I am probably going to go over to someone's home, I am not going to have leftovers. I am going to have some plates I may be taking home. But, when my mother was alive, we always had Christmas leftovers-Hell, we always had leftovers of whatever we had the night before. So, whether it was Christmas, Thanksgiving, New Year's, Halloween-if we had leftovers, we ate them. Why waste food?

We don't make much so we wont have left overs. In the past growing up with my parents we did, of course there were a lot of us. Now that I am on my own, there are only a small group of us so no need for a lot of foods just enough snacks for Christmas Eve and a couple of stuffed chickens with a few sides for Christmas dinner.

I'm from Oklahoma. Our food life REVOLVES around leftovers. We have HUGE families, and we never know who's going to drop in, so we just make a lot and then some of it doesn't get eaten
( although after 1 week, THROW IT OUT! ).

Oh yeah that's what we do the whole day Christmas. We have our big dinner on Christmas Eve then eat leftovers all day Christmas.

yes, my family basically has 2 christmas dinners.

we all do the whole christmas thing, formalwear, presents, and the whole nine yards.

the next day we come back to the house of whomever had christmas the day before. we wear sweats and eat on paper plates. sometimes the leftovers taste better the second day!

Just be sure to refrigerate it promptly and reheat it well when you are ready to eat it again. It should keep for several days. Turkey soup would be a good thing to make.
