Probably they are but I must admit, I am the same with it comes to a Republican here in the south.
99% of the Republicans I know are ignorant to real facts concerning our government while at the same time holding highly prejudice opinions.

Thank you for the laugh, I would have to say yes. The only time I suspect they really feel at ease is while voting in the primary elections. Nine out of ten questions are nothing but liberal bashes. I have notice that very few republicans ask real questions that require some thinking. I have not read any other answers to your question, however I can guess you are going to get many thumbs down and even more stupid bashing responses. Thanks again.

Extremist evangelicals have hijacked the Republican party and brought about an atmosphere of paranoia, fear, and blind raging hatred toward anything differing from their narrow view of the world. They label anything that does not conform to their worldview "liberal" without even considering the actual ideologies of their targets, using the label as a beacon for others of their mentality to crowd in and attack viciously..the fascists did the same thing by labeling people communists, invalids, jews, etc..

The U.S. has taken a hard right turn since Reagan.
It is an abandonment of your basic founding father's values. (Free masons like Washington and Franklin)
