OK, I'm bored and looking for some new music to expand my genres.

Please, CLASSIC punk, no new stuff. I can't stand the new stuff, but I'm head over heels for bands Like Operation Ivy and The Sex Pistols.
As far as metalcore goes, anything will do. I just want something loud.

Could you provide links to a myspace or something where I could listen as well?
It's not nessisary, it jsut saves me time and makes you more likely for the 10 Best answer points <3

Thanks so much!

ok, for punk, i don't know what's old and what's new, my friends just give me their stuff and i listen to it. how about ramones, the clash, buzzcocks, boomtown rats, dropkick murphys, flogging molly, generation x, the jerks, london, siouxsie & the banshees, revenge, and rancid are all good.

and metal is my favorite genre of music ever but since you asked for metalCORE, i'll give you a couple of the metalcore bands that i can think of.
a dozen furies, bury your dead, dir en grey (they're a japanese band and out of all the bands i'm listing, my favorite. i saw them in concert and they were amazing AND i got to shake the lead singer's hand afterwards too!! *fangirly squeel*), curl up and die, everytime i die, hatebreed, full blown chaos, killswitch engage, lamb of god, chimaira, psychostick, overcast, subzero, thine eyes bleed, zao, war of ages, winter solstice, sikth, converge, age of ruin, 36 crazy fists are all pretty good metalcore bands.

sorry, i don't know anything about myspace. i tried to get you some links but i don't have a myspace account and i'm too paranoid to get one lol so enjoy the bands, i hope you like them!
