uh... it's not the law... why do you care? it's personal prefrence... it's America and they are free to be offended... but you can still say it...
and I don't think it's against the law to be un-PC in Cali...

No liberal has affected my free speech in this century or the last. The administration's USA PATRIOT Act, however, does curtail free speech.

Lets see...........they tell me that I can not say Merry Christmas at work because it might offend some one. I can not say God Bless you when you sneeze because it is not PC either. I can not tell someone that as a Christian I am offended when you use the Lords name in vain because THEY are offended that I think that I am offended by this. I should just let them say what ever they want but I can not say this. I can not say that as a Christian I think that pron is wrong because it is THEIR right to show anyone it at any time.
These are just a few things that have been trampled of MY free speach but no one cares about these.
However if a Muslim says that they are offended by free speach of a Christian then the Christian is always wrong and too narrow minded and needs to say that they were wrong in even thinking such a thing. If a Muslim says any thing against a Christian it is ok though because the Muslims have the right to say any thing that they wish!

You've got it wrong. It's Conservatives that try to get free speech curtailed.
The Declaration of Independance and our Constitution are among the most radical documents ever created.
The right (whether they call themselves Republicans or something else) have been trying to nullify it all these years.
Ari Fleischer (Bush's first spokesman) warned the public that they'd better be careful of what they say.

My staggeringly predominantly Christian (98%ish) school was not allowed to mention the word "christmas" since 4th grade. They changed the name of "Christmas break" to "Winter break" and ruined our wonderful annual christmas pageant into a pc parade of stupidity.

I think that liberals have made in "uncool" to have views different from them and in that sense, they have very much impacted free speech. Peer pressure is a mighty tool and many conservatives may be afraid to voice their opinions for fear of reprisal. This is a shame because hearing different thoughts and beliefs (as long as they are done in a respectful way) lead to independent thought and weighing both sides of the story.

in california, its a hate crime to bother someone about being gay, and everything you say has to be "politically correct" such as, no offense intended to anyone, you must call a black person african-american, even if their family lines trace back in america as far as a caucasian person.

They don't, its republican right wing propaganda.
FOX news is not journalism.
PBS is.
Fox is owned by Rupert Murdoch.
PBS is owned by citizens.
Which one questioned Bush and his desire to invade Iraq without international support (except liberal britain)?
Which one cheered from the sidelines and dismissed any nay sayers as unAmerican?
