In almost all of the Christmas movies i've seen, Santa whips the crap out of his Reindeer, and i'm almost positive he doesn't properly handle them during the off-time before and after Christmas. Reindeer need to roam, and he keeps them confined to his dwelling in the north pole. PETA WHERE ARE YOU??!?

Not only is he an animal abuser, he is also the owner of a sweatshop, I feel so sorry for those little elves... Almost every Christmas story promotes abuse or discrimination, it needs to stop!!

NO because Santa cracks the whip AWAY from the reindeer over their heads. Santa is NOT mean,why do some people try to ruin Christmas and the "magical" part of BELIEVING in Santa. I would also wonder where you got all your "information" as to the reindeer not being able to roam,have you NOT seen the North Pole they have LOTS of room to frolic and run. He does NOT keep them confined to his dwelling,they live in the barn and have plenty to eat and drink,the elves see to that besides Santa and Mrs Claus. You are NOT a BELIEVER I can tell. A lawyer who prosecutes Santa will be seen as the bad guy and nobody would like him/her. Would you take harrasements from other people to prosecute santa for breaking and entering or for whipping a reindeer and keeping them confined?

Rudolph, et al, were recently represented by attorney Clarence Darrow in a series of negotiations which spelled out terms for treatment, pay, benefits, etc. The biggest concessions they won included vacation time and frequent flier miles.
In exchange, they agreed to fly Santa around once a year until their next negotiation takes place in ten years,

Thats an excellent idea. Kinda like Miracle on 34th street. But Im sure some awesome lawyer would take on his case probono and Santa would win.

i like youre point that PETA and most of the activist groups of any kind will take up just about any sort of abuse or disrespect. it makes me sick. PETA would probably try to have Santa Clause banned because he "abuses" his reindeer. the image would be bad for young children. if that ever happens, im moving to St. Lucia
