My wife, and I can not agree. I say gift's from Santa should be wrapped. (Obviously different wrapping paper). My wife says they should not be wrapped if from Santa.

Please help. We have a 3 year old girl, what we do this year sets the tone for the remainder of her "Santa's real" child hood.

DEFINATELY WRAP THEM!!! children want the element of surprise dont they! your little girl would b much happier in amazement of wonder of what she got!

however the stocking presents dont have to be wrapped, because they are in a stocking!!

thats how my family has done it from day on...all presents under the tree...from santa or relatives are wrapped...the all stocking stuffers unwrapped but in the stocking!

Good luck and Happy Holidays to you and your family!!!

I think presents from Santa should NOT be wrapped. The gifts you buy them are wrapped. So the special ones that Santa leave should be unwrapped. I remember it always being fun waking up in the morning and going through all the stuff santa left and the stuff in the stockings. Then once we had fun with all of that, showing Mom & Dad what we got, we were able to open the gifts under the tree. It was fun and I still do remember alot of the great presents Santa left me as a kid. I saw one answer say that you dont remember, but I do. So will they. I know others say wrap. But neither one is the wrong or right way. I hope you come to an agreement together.

I think they should be a mix. If you have something like a Hess truck ( that's what I got for my kids) I'm leaving that unwrapped but I also got them PS2 games which are going to be wrapped. Just wrap them in a different wrapping paper than the rest of the presents, my oldest son always picks up if the wrapping paper is the same as a non-Santa present...I hope that helps

We always bought a roll of paper that was different for the gifts from Santa - nothing got wrapped in that paper but those gifts.

I'm an old lady now but back in the day Santa never wrapped our gifts. Sometimes I wish he would have, but it never took the excitement away. It was great to get up and see the stuff sitting under the tree and sometimes hidden way in back of the tree.

Santa wraps his for our females in specific Santa wrapping paper. i like it because of the fact it style of prolongs the unwrapping and exhilaration a sprint extra. however, he left an Air Hockey table in my youngest daughters room unwrapped and placed including a huge bow on acceptable. This twelve months, i heard that he's getting them new bedding. the girls folk will possibly squeeze into our mattress this Christmas Eve and Santa will pass forward and placed their bedding on their beds and placed a bow on it. different than that- it's going to be wrapped.

well i gotta say, all our presents from santa were wrapped. even when we did presents to grand children and greatgrand children, they were wrapped. and yet with my husbands and mine stockings, thay r from santa, we do not wrap. so i guess it is mostly a flip of the coin.
