Use a computerized program or device to do pitch corrections so that you were in tune, something like an Eventide Harmonizer.

Politely suggest singing lessons, to improve your talented voice? That would only happen though, if I was in a good mood. If I was in cranky though, I would tell you to shut the hell up, even the cat can sing better than that. Not that I even have a cat anyway...

Well it would depend on where we both were. In person , I would probably grin and act like it was good, but on the radio I would just change the station!
