You should only feed the rabbit a LITTLE bit of fruit ONCE a day! This is very important because if you give him too much fruit, it'll have an overdose of suger, which is very fatal to a rabbit.

For a healthy rabbit, it would be important to feed it rabbit pellets and timothy hay, free feeding. It is VERY important to have vegetables in a rabbit's diet. You should feed 1 cup of 3 different kinds of vegetables a day EXCEPT for the following:

Lettuce (only romaine is ok)
Beans
Potatoes
Onions

You should only have:
1 meal of spinach a week, too much is bad for them
1 meal of kale a week, too much is bad for them
1 meal of mustard greens a week, too much is bad for them

Other than that, all dark, green, leafy vegetables are very nutritious too them. You might need to research more if you are just going to feed your rabbit fruits because then you'll have a very sick, and short-living rabbit.

ALWAYS have timothy hay, and rabbit pellets, and fresh water in their cages AT ALL TIMES!

Please, please, please, only 1-2 tablespoons of fruit a day. Or use fruit sparingly on special occasions or for treats. Only a little bit, too much will cause diabetes and possible sugar overdose/death.

Well now that you have read the important stuff... here are some fruits you can feed your rabbit:

Strawberries
Blueberries
Bananas
Peaches
Oranges (including peel)
Raspberries
Apples (not seeds!)
Grapes
Papayas
Pears
Pineaples
Melons

Please take my advice seriously! Thanks for reading this page.

First, make sure to feed your rabbits sweets in moderation (no more than 1-2 tablespoons per day)! Too much sugar can cause serious health problems. Otherwise, bananas, apples, blueberries, melons, oranges, papayas, peaches, pears, pineapples, plums, raspberries, strawberries, and carrots are safe for your bunny to eat.

I have a rabbit .. it LOVES bananas and apples. A rabbit I had when I was younger really liked popcorn. But if you still have dead leaves in your yard from fall that would be good to feed it. Also grass and clover from your yard

rabbits are unable to vomit. therefore feeding the bunny pineapple or papaya will break up the hair he swallows, since he cannot throw up a hair ball like cats

My bunnies love apples. mostly the peelings. also potato peelings. You will need pellets or hay for roughage or you'll have a sick bunny.
