i have cotton shirt which i bought from a store, i like the length of the shirt, the thing is, the width is bit large for me, i like it just fit for me, like fitted shirts, the length is just right, only the width, will i be able to shrink it somehow? thanks

if it is not preshrunk cotten yes it will shrink (in the dryer after you wash it of coarse) but evenly, so the width will not decrease much, it will only look shorter and "chubbier"

I don't know if you can have your cake and eat it too, but you can try hot water. After it spins out hang it on a hanger and kinda pull on the bottom of it, let it hang to dry and iron it. Good luck!!

put it through the wash(unless the tag says "preshrunk" then sorry...)
