I'm in law school. It's strange, as I am 38 and it's been YEARS since I was in a real classroom.
There's a lot of the same drama I remember from H.S., but we all drive better cars, study harder subjects and there's no cafeteria. Thank God I'm too old to care about the social whirl.

I'm in college, I'm a senior and i like it as much as I liked high school. It has its ups and downs. I wish I had known that I should choose a major i really loved instead of one that i thought would earn me money... so my thing is if you're going to do college do something you're passionate about if not every hour of those four years is going to be a chore. On the upside i've really matured as a person and like i feel more like an adult now than i did after high school, like i've got my stuff together in a way. I've made friends that i'm going to grow old with so all in all... its not too bad.

I would recommend taking a year off of school between high school and college to work in the real world and pay rent and bills. Once you're out a year, it will prepare you to not care about many of the petty things high schoolers bring into the college scene and help you succeed. Good luck.

I just finished my first semester in college. I'm 29. It is difficult but well worth the hassle. I'm lucky that my husband is supportive, and I was able to quit my job to focus exclusively on school.
When my grades came in, I did the happy dance. I was so proud of my grades, and after being out of school for just over 10 years I had thought that I would do poorly.
Getting to talk to the fresh HS graduates is fun. The see things very differently than I, but neither of us care too much. In fact being one of the older people in Freshman classes, I make friends pretty easy.

I am in college, I really like it because I'm learning something exciting. With the type of degree I will recieve when I graduate, I will be able to have a great career with my Associates Degree. But it is a little challenging at times, but I am willing to go through the challenges because my reward will be graduating and obtaining a degree.

Anyone who tells you that college is really EASY is definitely a liar!!! I have to say from experience that it is unlike high school, and the rewards after some really hard work is really great!!! It is like digging for the treasure; the more you dig, the nearer you will get to succeed!!! The greatest strategy is never give up easily like the old folks say....Tram

College is great. But it has its moments. My biggest thing about college is to know your purpose. If you go to college and jerk off then you are not going to enjoy it because you gonna get kicked out. Also one important thing about college is that college expose your weakness so you can improve on it .
