when you type in a search and come back after a long time and its still there how do you make it go away?

my little brother was useing my computter to search for pics of girls and the searches are still there even thought i deleted the history

In Mozilla, go to Tools | Options | Saved Forms. Once there, click on "Clear Saved Form Data Now." If you don't want your internet to ever remember form data and search cache, click off "Save information I enter in forms and search bar."

I can't figure our how to do so in Internet Explorer, I believe you follow the approximately same steps.

Clear your Auto Complete Form history.

In internet Explorer, go to Tools > Internet Options. Select the Content tab, then the Auto Complete button. Turn OFF the checkbox for forms.

del the temporary interent files to do this go to your TOOL's option and go down to OPTIONS. then click on the DELETE COOKIES and DELETE FILES options. when clicking on the DELETE FILES option make sure you check the OFFLINE CONTENT box. some also let you move your cursor over the search that is showing up and click the DEL butten to get rid others let you Click an option that sais Purge Searches. just depends on your browser. hope this helps

if you are using Firefox, be sure to delete Saved Form Information (dont worry, this does not usually include passwords/usernames)

if you are using Internet Explorer 7, delete Form Data

This is called AutoComplete. Go to tools>Internet Options>Advanced
Now scroll down until you see AutoComplete and uncheck it
