If you have an Equine (or any other animal) at your house that has been there for 6+ months and the owner comes to retrieve it, do you have the right to refuse? I'm not a boarding stable and I have been working with the horse for over 5 years and have put at least $1400 into her-not including feed and hay! I am NOT being paid for any services or having any help with the animals bills.

Unless you have an agreement that the horse would become your horse due to your work and expenses, the horse still belongs to the owner. Your work and expenses were voluntary on your part.

Sorry I can't give you better news.
