Here's some CORRECT information provided by monistat

Can I give a yeast infection to my sex partner?
It is possible (though not common) for a sex partner to develop a yeast infection. If you are treating a yeast infection — or think you have one, but haven't started treatment for it — and your partner has penile itching, redness, or discomfort, he should contact his physician. Your partner's physician should know you are treating yourself for a yeast infection (or suspect you have one) so a precise diagnosis can be made.
and CORRECT information provided by monistat to answer your question:
Is it okay to have sex while I'm using a MONISTAT® product?
For best results, refrain from vaginal intercourse while using these products. Your vaginal tissues need a chance to completely heal and you don't want to chance transmitting the infection to your partner. If you start treatment with MONISTAT®, try not to do anything that could potentially interfere with therapy.
The use of diaphragms and condoms is not recommended during therapy with MONISTAT® 3 and MONISTAT® 7. With MONISTAT® 1 Combination Pack and 1-DAY™ (tioconazole 6.5%), the use of diaphragms and condoms is not recommended during therapy and for 3 days afterwards. Condoms and diaphragms may be damaged and fail to prevent pregnancy or sexually transmitted diseases.
My personal experience was on Monistat 24 hour day or night treatment and the next day I was fine. However if you have sex while you have a yeast infection sex will be uncomfortable, it will hurt a little, and it will feel kind of like your dry (burning), it's just not really all that great to be honest (and even if you have sex with a condom you will still be uncomfotable). Also if it's a 3 day treatment then you definately want to make sure you complete treatment before you have sex.
Just to make sure I"m giving good info here's what's posted on the site:
do not use tampons, douches, spermicides, or other vaginal products
do not rely on condoms or diaphragms for contraception and disease prevention as they may be damaged and fail to prevent pregnancy or sexually transmitted diseases (STDs). For 1-day products, the use of condoms and diaphragms is not recommended for one day after using the vaginal insert.
do not have vaginal intercourse
be aware that a mild increase in vaginal burning, itching or irritation may occur
if pregnant or breast-feeding, ask a health professional before use
keep out of reach of children. If swallowed, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away
Also if you want to speak to someone you can call the company @:
Questions of a medical nature should be taken up with your doctor. If you have any other questions or need more information about MONISTAT® products, call our HEALTHCARE SPECIALIST STAFFED ANSWER LINE: 1-877-MONISTAT® (1-877-666-4782), between 8:00 A.M. and 5:00 P.M. Hello, I'm on the second week and seeing definite improvement on my yeast infection symptoms:
https://bitly.im/aMD00
Note that: If the yeast infection doesn't respond to over the counter treatment, prescription medication will likely be necessary. Similarly, if the symptoms return after two months of being treated, you should contact the doctor for professional treatment rather than resorting again to home treatment.

If this is the first time you have experienced a yeast infection, you should schedule an appointment to have the condition treated by a doctor instead of resorting to home treatment

No you can pass the yeast on to your partner and even if he doesn't end up with symptoms may than be able to pass it onto you later....it is better to wait till it is cleared up. Since an antibiotic would make yeast worse not better...that wouldn't be the answer. In the possibility that you can clear up the infection....use cold and stay dry down there.....possibly some oral garlic or something to help make sure you get rid of the infection fast.

Although it is rare, you can transmit a yeast infection to your partner through sexual intercourse.
So I would use a condom if I were you.
