I like to do it Christmas Eve so we don't have to get up early and rush to be at my bf's mother's by 11 for brunch. This worked well last year but this year my bf and teen daughter want to wait until Christmas morning.

Christmas morning.
The whole fun of Christmas is the anticipation and excitement.
And i know presents arnt the meaning of Christmas... But really that is part of the main fun. And once you've done that there really isnt much to look forward to after that.
So wait until the morning.
Christmas Eve is better spent with family talking and watching movies and eating snacks and all that.
I know it will be alot harder to sleep that night... but it'll be funner in the morning. You'll actually wanna get out of bed.
Well... maybe you wont.. but im sure your teen and bf will be able to. haha

I think it's a good idea to open one present on Christmas Eve, and the rest of them on Christmas Morning.

Happy Holidays!

My family's tradition has always been to open presents on Christmas morning!

However, I understand opening them on Christmas Eve to avoid a rush the next morning. Presents are certainly more fun if you can open them at whatever pace you choose instead of having to stick to a timetable.

Wife and I open our presents on Christmas Eve and the kids and grand kids come over on Christmas day ( in the late morning or early afternoon) and open their presents. Then it's to the table to feast on the beast !! Have a Merry Christmas.

We will be opening them up at 11pm Christmas eve, so we don't have to get up so early the next morning and so we can be on time at my parents house on Christmas day
