I love both but I'm going to have to go with baseball. I just love the game, playing and watching it.

Well, are you an idiot. It kind of works like this on Yahoo! answers. You ask this question under the Baseball section, you get all answers saying Baseball...Baseball...Baseball. If you put it under the Basketball section, you get all answers saying BBall...BBall...BBall.

Me of course I am not like that at all. I am a baseball and a basketball fan, but I consider baseball. It involves more strategy than basketball. Even though basketball is more athletic, it is too easy to score. The final scores in basketball are like 104-86 or along that lines. The most score you probably get in baseball is probably 32 or something along that lines. In most baseball games, the score doesn't even go past 10. or 20.

OVERALL:

Strategy: Baseball
Harder to Score: Baseball
More Athletic: Basketball

2/3 67% says baseball. Overall, baseball.

Alright first of all baseball is no longer americas game. ESPN the mags latest issue shows that the average veiwer rating was lower than that of shows such as Dancing With the Stars, and Desperate Housewives, and about equal to the sitcom two and a half men. so no, not americas game anymore sorry. That distinction would have to go to football, every single stadium was sold out for the first 10 weeks this season, and name a more watched event than the superbowl....altho thats not the question..I will cede that baseball is more strategy, but basketball players are better athletes and it puts more wear and tear on your body, a majority of MLB stars have clauses in their contracts prohibiting them from playing basketball and it can get them fired (Boone in NY lost his job getting hurt playing basketball) which shows you which is worse on the body, and You certainly wont find an NBA contract prohibiting baseball...plus, basketball is easier for the average american to play, requires less space, less people and less equipment. So while I value both, basketball is a better game, even though Football is by far clearly the best and clearly americas new game. Oh and I forgot to mention, watching Baseball is so boring, way to much time between action, you miss 30 seconds of a baseball game you have most likely missed literally nothing, or maybe 1 at the most 2 pitches, you miss 30 seconds of an NBA game and you could miss 4 or 5 highlight plays, or like 10 points, enough said

Baseball, because considering the schedule for baseball including playoffs is longer than basketball. I think there's more stratagy involved in baseball. Basketball is a good sport, but it's not as exciting as it used to be. I think baseball is alot more exciting.
