I don't like either name, but if I were forced to choose, I'd go with Miranda. Giana seems like one of those names that's trying to be original, but was actually thought up by some lower-class, high-maintenance individual.

As long as the G in Giana is pronounced like jee it's a beautiful name. If it's pronounced gee (with a hard g) it sounds too much like the country Guyana.

Giana but if you want an Italian name I would go with the Italian version of Victoria which is Vittoria.
