I usually write humorous poems related to things I experience in real life. They consist of about 12 stanzas and generally the 2nd and 4th lines rhyme. I finish the poem with a catchy line that makes the reader laugh or smile.

Hmm...I have a set style I guess, but my subject matter changes. I write poems for my sweet "white rose" from time to time, and I enjoy Brandi's weekly challenge. Poems help keep me actively writing and it inspires ideas for greater projects. For instance I wrote a poem a couple weeks back that inspired my next writing project that I will be starting on in January. : )

A reluctant one, at best. Although I seem to have a natural talent for poetry, I don't have the patience for writing. I've penned many a poem...yet when it comes to you, I am speechless.

reliable rhythm and ordinary to study (however no longer inevitably ordinary to jot down). It takes time to tutor a picture into something as user-friendly and comprehensible as this. great poem :) thank you
