I don't think our founding father Thomas Jefferson had that in mind when he wrote in Pursuit of Happiness. I think he just wanted all Americans to be as happy as possible. Obviously you are not a very happy person.

yes, then they would try to make excuses for your behavior like you had a mental disorder (temporary insanity ). Then you would get a slap on the wrist punishment and would be told to never do it again. While people try to reason with you and understand your point of view because it could never have really been your fault at all.
