Not really...sounds like a kids name. Even bobby sounds sounds like a 12 year old...bobby joe = worse...sorry..hehe

I just can't imagine a 40-year-old man with a family, etc. called Bobby Joe. (I can't imagine a 20-year-old man with that name either; in fact, anyone over the age of about 10....).

If you live in the deep south the name is great, otherwise you may want to think about it some more.
