I am designing a new website and want to take my "freelance career" into a new area. I am thinking of a website called Get the Grade that would include How-to articles, class notes from across the US in general classes, scholarship resources, tutorials for general classes, etc. It would be geared for the college student but could expand to high school grades. What do you think? Do you think it would fly? Right now I focus on freelance writing and providing website content. I also dabble in affiliate programs and online marketing.

I think it will go great, especially if it's nonprofit. Not many students have the money to pay for help. If you would like to be paid for the service, I'd reccomend accepting Paypal donations on your page.
Anyway, it sounds like a wonderful idea to me--I know it could do a lot of good. Good luck and Happy Holidays.

It will definitely fly if you get the word out to the right people. I work in a school office and have just one more suggestion for the site: If you include some specific forums for students and (especially important) links to free games, it's sure to be popular among the students.

You know - I courtsey to you... what a creative thinker you are!!! Hope noone steals your idea. Go for it girl - i think any open/loose ends will work it's way by itself. You can modify your site according to where it's needed as time goes by. Once you've got it up and running - run it past some school districts and allow an area for suggestions from users.
