I'm supposed to be twelve weeks into my pregnancy...on my last sonogram the sonographer only found a 7wk sac and what she believed to be a 6wk fetal pole...with my last bloodwork they found that my hcg had gone down....now today i have been spotting some with a few small and i mean (small) clumps in it...it has a strange odor and i'm starting to cramp considerably...should i go to the emergency room? Or just wait it out...i don't want to bother them unnecessarily.....thanks for your suggestions.....

Go to the doctor ASAP. At least call them.

Bleeding with clots is a serious concern.

can you call your doctor's office and ask to speak with the nurse? Maybe call a neighbor or relative to come over and sit with you until you can hear from your physician. Cramping may be of concern, especially if you begin bleeding. I would call now and talk with your doctor, don't go the holiday weekend alone.

go to the emergency room..Its role is to prevent the disintegration of the corpus luteum of the ovary and thereby maintain progesterone production that is critical for a pregnancy in humans... decrease of it may be jeopardizing not only to you (bleeding) but as well as to your baby... you will then be given a medicine to decrease and eventually eliminate the symptoms you are experiencing now...

if you'll act now, you may save the life you are carrying....
