depends on the game.
a ps1 memory card fits in a ps2
a ps1 game can only save on a ps1 card.
you can then move all of your save data from the ps1 card onto the ps2 card (the ps2 card is bigger and can hold several ps1 cards' worth of memory/saves)
but a ps1 game can not load from a ps2 card

no because i use to have a ps1 memory card and it would never work on my ps2 and it got on my nerves but i wish it did work for a ps2

Yes i think you can! because we have a ps2 and the original, we tried it, and.....and..... u know what? as matter of fact, i dont think you can, because the memory card for the ps2 need an 8 mb memory card, we use the black one. i never thought of that! maybe it works, give it a try, thats what i do.
