A little ironic, a Seahawks fan calling the Eagles pretenders... the Seahawks are not even one of the 20 best teams in the NFL, and they have played the leagues easiest schedule, easier than the Bears' was.
The Eagles are contenders. I had thought they were done when McNabb went down, but Jeff Garcia looks solid like he did in SF. That, plus their defensive secondary is healthy again, plus Andy Reid is calling more run plays (imagine that!) and the Eagles have a good shot at winning at least one playoff game.
The Eagles are exactly as good as the Cowboys, about 16% above average (the Bears, for perspective, are about 30% above average). The Cowboys will probably win this week due to home-field advantage, but the Eagles are a solid and well-rounded playoff team. (This is coming from a Redskins fan)

Pretenders. They always get somewhere but never go anywhere after that, lol. I live outside of Philly so I know how excited everyone is right now but come January, they will all be let down AGAIN!!! Then I have to sing the "told you so" song. They suck, even when Donovan is there!
