They're 12-14, have won 5 in a row, and tonight are looking to win 6 in a row for the first time since 2002 (when they had Rasheed, Damon, Bonzi, Kemp, etc). Yes they're a developing team, but they sure are playing good...beating teams like the Pistons, T-Wolves, Raptors, even the Lakers!!! They're only half a game out of the final 8th spot right now. Can they continue to be strong and get in? If not, how man wins do you think they can get? 45? 40? 35? Some NBA analysts thought they would be the worst team in the league this year, lol yeah right, they're 12-14!

Makara, there are better teams. BUT WHAT ABOUT ZACH RANDOLPH! HOW IS HE NOT A SUPERSTAR!!! HE'S AVERAGING 25 POINTS PER GAME!!!! And the whole team is playing great--Roy, Outlaw, Jack, etc

They could make the playoffs. Any team could make a run in any given year. Unfortunately, the Trail Blazers are in the Western Conference and the Western Conference is stacked. They would have to make it as an 8 seed and frankly I like Golden State, New Orleans, Minnesota, Sacramento, and the Clippers better than the Trail Blazers. Sacramento and the Clippers were in the playoffs last year so they have the experience of making playoff runs. Minnesota has K-G which is a big plus in any given year.New Orleans is inconsistent, but they have Chris Paul and Pedraj Stojakovic which makes a playoff run much easier. Golden State doesn't impress me, but they have Baron Davis who is a proven leader. I know you want me to say that they are going to make the playoffs, but I don't see it happening. I think they'll finish two games out of the 8 seed by 2 games. They will finish 40-42. The Western conference is too stacked for an unproven Portland Trail Blazers team whose best player, Zac Randolph, was a one-year wonder. Sorry, but I don't see playoffs in the near future for the Trail Blazers. Even if they make the playoffs, they won't get past the first round.
