Being you only gave 4 choices, and Washington and Lincoln were never elected President ( Washington was King{which he refused} and Lincoln was never duly elected {cause of civil war})
That leaves Carter and Clinton
so Clinton must be it!

The historians consider Abraham Lincoln to be the greatest president and I must agree. He kept the nation together and abolished slavery.

The next greatest president is George Washington. George Washington helped establish our great nation.

Bill Clinton and Jimmy Carter don't come even close to those two great presidents who we honor by celebrating their birthdays.

out of the four choices that you gave me.. i personally feel that George Washington was the best president out of the 4. Very close behind in second would be Lincoln and then Clinton and then Carter. But we had greater presidents then those 4. for example FDR or TR or Truman, LBJ and maybe Eisenhower were all terrific presidents and in my opion most of them were better than Washington.

I'd say Lincoln.

He lead during the hardest time in US history. Also, maybe more importantly than we realize, there wasn't the kind of media then that there is now, to report every little thing he did wrong and tie up the big hands of government in a paper-selling scandal.

Washington. Lincoln failed to unite the country and civil war broke out. He was also a racist.

Bill Clinton was a lying pig, and the only reason the budget got balanced was because the left wing lost control of the Congress. He was all but powerless in his presidency without the support of moderates.

James Carter is a hated traitor of the American people. Even those on the looniest wing of the left condemn his latest tripe against the jews in Israel, comparing the situation to apartheid, his own people who have known him for decades have turned on him because he is a nut.

Out of your choices, Lincoln, but Reagan was the greatest and Carter the worst.

geo. wash was a good general before the white house but kind of lame as pres. clinton was morally bankrupt but al least slightly above average. jimmy carter i liked alot but he was COMPLETELY INEFFECTIVE because his integrity was way to high for the office he held so the senate/house they laughed him out of washington as a joke and the brilliant populace went right along.

H_O_N_E_S_T__A_B_E fought to free the slaves and he is the hands down winner in this group. if it was a primary say 55% for lincoln and 45% divided evenly amongst the other 3
