Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus!
Santa is not one person, but many. Santa is Time Magazine's pick for the 2006 Person of the Year. Whenever you give a gift - however large or small, however expensive or cheap - that the recipient appreciates, you are Santa Claus. Nor does that gift have to be a Christmas gift; you can be Santa Claus any time of year. Even if the only gift you give is a sympathetic ear or a shoulder to cry on, you are a Santa.

santa is a fictional character used for children to explain all of the gifts under the tree

OF COURSE SANTA'S REAL.
At my house, my wife and I do not put any presents out under the tree and they are always there on Christmas morning. So, who else would put them there? The easter bunny? no......its santa!
