I have three acounts on my computer.Me, Mom,and Dad. I want to download AOL Instant Messenger on my account only but when I installed it, it went on all three accounts. How do I install it on my account only?

But if I delete it off their accounts, it takes it off my account too

Suggestion... don't install anything having to do with AOL, it can destroy computers.

I'm not saying don't use AIM, I use AIM, but I didn't install it. Install Trillian instead: www.ceruleanstudios.com, it supports AIM, ICQ, Yahoo, MSN and IRC, all major programs, and you don't have to touch AOL, and it also has some settings for different users.

Geez AOL = Satan. But if your going to use it and enjoy the lovely backdoors it puts on you computer then simply go onto their accounts and delete the icon on their screen only not the program and thats the best you can do.

Who's the computer's 'Administrator'? If it's you, you should be able to restrict others' access to that program.

Do you know who is listed as the administrator?

then open the account of your parents and delete it there
