Some say Pearl Habor. Some Say 9/11/01. We say the worst security failure is the failure to protect our borders from all enemies foreign and domestic that has been making history for at least 10 years. Failure to prosecute those who cross illegally is extremely bad security and caused 9/11/01

Several of the 9/11 hijackers were taking flying lessons in the state of Florida. They only wanted to learn to fly a 747 in simulation, but expressed openly they did not care to learn how to land it. The FBI was notified about this suspicious activity but failed to act.

Seriously, anyone who says, "oooh ahh, liberals say this, ooh our border control is the problem, liberals are soft', or 'conservatives are all selfish, they are stupid", is most likely a simple thinker, who reads one newspaper and believes that left and right wing are the only choices, that black and white are the only colours, and that any middle ground is fence sitting.
******* morons. This site is so full of em. You could ask a question about popular music and get some fool crapping on about how soft liberals are... Morons. And, you don't seem to realise how stupid that back and forth nonsense makes you look in the media. In the eyes of the international community, Americans look very polarised and simple in their thinking and politics, but I am just hoping that underneath the idiocy there are some genuinely thoughtful and intelligent people.
Unfortunately, they are also quiet.
Merry Xmas. Make it your new years resolution, polarised thinkers, to turn your brain on, talk to someone in a rational and level manner and learn something.

By a long shot, it's John Walker and his son's spying and providing the Russians with copies of our daily crypto keys. It went on for almost 30 years.

It depends if you are counting the number of people killed, or the number of national security secrets stolen. I would say the loss of technology in regards to atomic bombs and the loss of nuclear materials is probably bigger then any one specific event.

None, since liberals are quick to point out that emphasis on Homeland Security is one of the 14 points of fascism.

You can't say 9-11, because liberals think that was an inside job by the government.
I'm guessing the Oklahoma City bombing.
