You need to explain a little more. Is the child gone or died ? The answer for that will be one. But if your dreaming about a child who still lives, there is another answer. Somehow it is laying heavy on your mind. Let us know what has happened and then I can tell you why. If the child is living , it could mean many things. Write more.

It's unfortunate that you didn't see the child's face close enough to recognize it. It might be you. And death in dreams is usually a good sign rather than bad. It might be reminding you to get in touch of your past life (families, friends, etc) before too late and to get over with any bad memories you've been having or keeping all your life.

depends if you know who this child is (could this child represent a part of your inner being)
it could mean the end of chapter in your life and the beginning of another
but.......it could also be a warning to keep an eye out of this child... (or the fact that, for some reason, you feel that this child is frail or weak)
you also don't say if this is your child and if you have constant worries on your mind about this child for some reason to begin with.

Think about positive things your boy enjoys doing, and think about why you love your boy. What makes him special. This will offset the negative energy that is present in those dreams and make them stop. Also this will help your boy in the long run because the universe will bring more positive energy into your life to use at times when it is needed. Death in a dream usually signifies the end of something in a persons life. Is the child sick or going through something? The end of whatever it is going through is near.

Need more detail. How did he/she die, how are you related to him/her, where did he/she die, etc. It may either be from ESP (What? It happens!) or your brain telling you something.
