For theater show tickets you should go to Hot Tix which sells 1/2 price tix the day of a show. They have 2 locations downtown. One in the loop and one near Water Tower Place. Enjoy

You need to go to HOT TIX downtown. They will sell half price theater tickets on the same day as most shows. Also for WICKED, there is a lottery system, where you go by and ask for a same day ticket. You put your raffle ticket (FREE) in the witche's hat in lobby, then return by five thirty for a drawing to buy one of twenty front row seats for that night's show.

You have to go on line or contact the Chamber of commerce in thaat area and they are usually very helpful. Just type in the name of the show and it should give you lots of listings. Also if you are going to be staying in the area of the show, lots of hotels can help you get a package with tickets included.
