I need some suggestions as to songs that would sound good on two acoustics together.

If you don't mind comedy I recommend anything by Tenacious D since they are an acoustic duet. Their albums have electric guitar in it, but they are strictly acoustic live.

You can search for sheet music on Amazon or other sites. I would suggest looking for duets for acoustic or finger-style guitar, though classical guitar duets would work fine as well. If you go this route, I would recommend Bach, Turrega, Vivaldi, Scarlatti or Villa-Lobos. There is also free sheet music available at the "Guitar School Iceland" website. Here is the link for their duos section:

I was a member of a college classical guitar ensemble for four years, and the best advice I can give you for chamber music is to focus on contrasts in dynamics and timbre (or tone). The great thing about chamber music is that a strict tempo is often not necessary. Feel free to take liberties with tempo so long as it is an aid to expression and not a distraction. Hope that helps. Good luck with your musical endeavors

Now, this is a blues guitar duet, but it's still awesome. "Let the Good Times Roll," as performed by Brad Paisley featuring B.B. King. I know--I said it's blues, but Paisley's a country guitarist. Well, he's able to play MANY genres. Another one, that has some rock guitar in it is by Brad Paisley featuring Keith Urban called "Start a Band." The theme of the song is actually a rock kind of theme, if you listen to the words.

I would never recommend anything in which two acoustics are put together. Sounds like a muddy mess to me. An acoustic bass and an acoustic guitar, now that's what you're looking for.
